Profile Data: Your profile information is stored locally on your device.

Expense Data: Expense entries (amount, category, description, date) and categories you create.

Usage Data: Information such as device identifiers, app events, pages visited, and diagnostic data.

3. How I Use Data

To provide and maintain the Service.

To back up expense data securely using Supabase (cloud storage).

To authenticate users and manage accounts.

To analyze usage trends with Posthog to improve user experience.

To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.

4. Data Storage and Processing

Your expense and profile data are primarily stored locally on your device.

A backup copy of your expense data is stored in Supabase, a cloud-hosted service provided by Supabase Inc. (see their privacy policy: https://supabase.com/privacy).

Authentication data is also stored in Supabase for secure account login.

By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data by Supabase in accordance with their privacy policy.

5. Analytics

I use Posthog, an open-source analytics platform, to understand how the Service is used.

Posthog collects usage events and interactions within the app but does not collect your raw expense descriptions or sensitive financial information.

At this time, users cannot opt out of analytics collection.

6. Data Sharing

I do not sell or rent your personal data.

I do not share your expense data with advertisers.

Data may be shared with service providers (such as Supabase and Posthog) strictly to operate the Service.

7. Security

The security of your data is important to me. I use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

For additional protection, you should enable device PIN, biometrics, or OS-level encryption.

8. Children's Privacy

This Service is available to children under the age of 13.

I do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is necessary to provide the Service.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided more information than necessary may contact me at daveydenco@gmail.com to request deletion.

I encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s use of the Service.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
